We have recently had a Ford Escort RS Cosworth come into the Speedshop44 workshops for servicing and modifications to return the rally car to its original specifications. These rally cars are highly sought-after by collectors, especially the original big turbo models produced between 1992 to 1994 and models that have the original factory specifications.

To help us tune the car, at Speedshop44 we use particular meters. In order to check voltage ranges, we attach an oscilloscope to the engine electrics and a lambda sensor to the exhaust that has a display that can be read from the driver’s seat.
