Reflecting on a successful year of open days at Speedshop 44, from our Ferrari and Aston Martin specials to supporting the vital work of Cancer Research UK.

Our workshop recently prepared a 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo for sale, combining a major service with a series of mechanical and cosmetic improvements. From replacing all ten spark plugs and fitting fresh tyres to refreshing the interior leather, repairing paintwork and replacing the front badge, every detail was considered to bring this iconic V10 supercar back to its best for its next owner.

Take a closer look at the specialist work being carried out on a remarkable Ferrari 250 GTO, from detailed bodywork and repainting to carefully tuning its competition-bred V12. Our technicians are also refining the six-carburettor fuel system, modifying the exhaust and addressing electrical work to ensure this rare Ferrari performs as beautifully as it looks. Having spent approximately 30 years out of use, this Ferrari 250 GTO requires specialist attention to bring it back to the condition expected of such an iconic car.

During the spring, we carried out an engine-out cam belt service on a Ferrari F355. This major service required the removal of the complete rear drivetrain assembly to gain access to the engine. With the engine and gearbox out of the vehicle, we were also able to undertake detailed cleaning, thorough component inspections, and preventative maintenance before carefully reassembling the Ferrari.
