With an exciting new year ahead, we have some amazing events lined up for 2026 at Speedshop44. After the success of our open day and meet-ups at our sister businesses, P&K Thornton and Alficina, we have increased the number of events held by us and our sister businesses, so you can spend even more time admiring our stunning modern and future classic cars and chatting to us about our work at Speedshop44. If you are looking for something to do over your upcoming weekends, take a look at all the exciting events you can attend at our workshops in Nottingham.
If you would like to have a coffee, chat with our amazing staff and admire all our show-stopping future classics, attend our Cancer Research Open Days, starting from 8.30 AM. Due to the popularity of this event, we have increased the number of open days from 1 to 3! They are held seasonally, taking place on the 11th of April, the 11th of July, and the 10th of October. We are raising funds in aid of Cancer Research UK, a cause close to our hearts.
Arrival is from 8:30 AM at our Speedshop44 Workshops, Wood Farm, Spring Lane, Lambley, Nottingham, NG4 4PF. Ample parking will be available in front of our buildings, and entry to the farm will be signposted. Breakfast buns and premium barista coffee will be provided. Our experienced restoration technicians will be on hand to discuss all mechanical aspects of our beloved modern classics, and there is an opportunity to have your car lifted on the ramps for a more detailed inspection. Our site now features five busy workshops, an engine room, a modern rolling road tuning facility, and a specialist classic Bodyshop.
This year marks the first year Speedshop44 has taken part in our open day events and the sixth anniversary of our sister businesses, Alficina and P&K Thornton Restorations, hosting our Cancer Research Open Day, who bring in a range of British and Italian classic cars to admire, alongside our future and modern classic cars!
